Loved the chicken wings. The spaghetti pie is a one of a kind next time I'll try it with marinara sauce. Service was great fast and attentive.

I'm a pizza snob from Chicago and prefer deep dish pizza over thin crust. I understand that in Chicago they have Tavern Thin pizzas but I think "why bother?" I want ingredients and lots of them. Still, I can appreciate when a pizza is well made even if it's thinner than a pan pizza. Old Chicago's Tavern's thin pizza was well made and was a perfect mix of crust, sauce and ingredients that came somewhere between a pan pizza and a thin crust. We got a large Chicago 7 pizza. It had some ingredients I don't normally ask for like mushrooms, but I was willing to go with how they make it there. The delicious part about the Chicago 7 pizza was the ingredients combined to create one flavor, verses tasting (and being distracted by) individual ingredients on it. We also got garden salads which were fresh and our server Shanna G was attentive and helpful. The place is rustic and has three major seating areas. One in the front by the windows and two in the back, one being the bar. I wouldn't seek out this place as my first choice next time I'm looking for a great pizza, but neither would I hesitate to return and enjoy another of their meals.

Did you know that they go back to 1976 when a few buddies first opened the O.G branch in Boulder? Their ethos is Serve up delicious, handmade pizza, have the best lineup of cold beers in town, and always treat the Guests like family. I believe they have a total of about a dozen restaurants open. As this is not my first time to dine in one of their restaurants and most likely not yours as well. I know I've enjoyed their food, beer and would be back to try their Stacked Sodas. They serve wines too! I didn't know that! They kept to their ethos and so the people kept coming. One of the local business that I'd like for you to continue supporting! I don't know why anyone would give them less than 5 stars. My husband and I flew in from CA around 10pm hungry and ready to relax. We searched for restaurants in the area and the only place open near our hotel was Old Chicago. The service was amazing! Cay was so attentive and sweet. She made sure our glasses were always full and she offered recommendations on what we should try. Seriously, it was bomb! My husband ordered a sandwich and I got the chicken tenders. Both amazing! They make their own ranch and I highly recommend trying it. We're staying at a hotel across the street so we plan to stop back in before we head home. Highly recommend!

Eliza was amazing! Me and my spouse just moved into the neighborhood and were welcomed with open arms. The personal late night pizza was the perfect size for one guy. They have all the tv's on everything you could want to watch (I was there late after unpacking)! This will definitely be our new hangout close to home!
